Did you have any pressure from behind? I assume the smokey Mustang was in a different class?

Kind of, I was running SU that race and Steven Kolrud (Regional SU Champion and Third place finisher at Nationals one month before) was right behind me up until we hit traffic. We were running similar lap times but if you look at mylaps once we hit traffic I was 1-8 seconds a lap quicker. I was pushing though traffic because I knew if we hit open track he may run me down.

The Blue Mustang was Chris Griswold 800 HP AIX beast, your 2009 & 2010 National AIX Champion.

I haven't been sitting inside just because it's cold out. Wheel to wheel ice racing in Wisconsin keeps the hands busy. Trying to stay in front of 4,000 lb cars in a little red 2,200 lb MR2 is very motivating.

Motivated to not get run over and crushed that is.
