Default Where do you buy sheets of aluminum??

I want to box the front end of the car to channel all incoming air through the rad.

Where do you recommend I look to purchase, and also what type of aluminum, gauge is typically recommended?

I used Home Depot for small sheets of 26 gauge metal for that very purpose. Sizes vary up to about 24" or 36".

I bought 12" x 18" for $4.98 a couple of days ago for another application.

Larger supply houses usually sell in 4' x 8' minimum and prefer to sell several sheets.

Consider using 0.1" lexan! The stuff's practically indestructible, it just bounces back after taking a hit, is good to 350F and you can see through it, which makes fab and maintenance easier.

It's what I used on the e36 and it worked out well.
