Hood Pins C5?

Hood Pins C5?
Where do you guys put your hood pins? Can it be mounted where the rubber stop goes? I still want to use the hinges in the front. Not sure if the hood pins will work, because the hood is coming down at an angle when closing.

The hood moves on such a large arch that it almost moves straight up and down in the back. Pins will be fine.

Steve,
Hood pins in place of existing rubber stop will work. Make sure you double nut the pin with a section of rubber to support the underside of the hood. Also use washers on the underside of the hood to reinforce rivets for hood pin plate so they do not pull through due to vibration.
