Default New Bolted in Roll Bar

Here are some pictures of the Bolt in roll bar that I had installed. The fit and finish are great and Anthony at Race Car Builders did a great job, he made a custom mount for my Coolsuit. And the whole thing came out really nice. This set up can be updated to a full cage at a later date if and when I decide to take the next step. JD

It looks good, Jim. I hope you never need it.

Thanks Jim, hope to see you this spring at an event!
Me to, but at the speeds we are running I felt it was a good investment, and I'm sure it has stiffened the chassis quite a bit. JD

Now that's a nice bolt in roll bar. Is this a one off or is it available for purchase?

Do you have pictures of where the front legs were mounted?

This is custom built and is bolted thru the Aluminium frame.

I don't, I will try to see if I can take some. But I can explain, there are steel plates about 8" long bolted thru the frame (4 bolts each side) from the side that go up against the wall behind the seats and the down tubes are gusseted and welded to that plate. And in the rear the down tubes are thru bolted to the frame also. JD

Jim, some very nice quality work there! The guy did a really nice job. Hope you never test it out but maybe just knowing it's there will take a second off your lap times.

One more thing. Can you map out the path you'll take when your doors won't unlock and you have to snake your way from the hatch to the front to open the doors? Obviously just kidding. This is probably something we all should think about doing.

$1800.00 out the door, including the coolsuit cooler bracket and taking out and reinstalling the seats and interior. A great deal for the fit and finish. JD
