always noise restriction at LRP except for a day or two in the year for Pro's. I would guess PDA/NASA site will tell you the noise limits.

Not so. SCCA races are all 102 db. Unmuffled days are 102. Muffled is 89.

never saw a HPDE that was not muffled. SCCA I could call pro racing which they may exempt.

on site PDA

Lime Rock is not beloved by all the residents of the area. Since 1963, Lime Rock has operated under the terms of a consent decree that limits the noise levels and operating hours of the track. As a result, there is never any Sunday racing at the track; unmuffled dates are restricted to a specific number of Fridays, Saturdays, and Holidays; and operation of race engines is limited to a specific range of hours of the day (which varies according to the rather complex terms of the consent decree.)
I would ask them in Email at least you have something in writing.

I believe LRP is now noise restricted to 85db....which will give some stock-exhausted cars trouble. They give you one opportunity to "fix" the noise...which usually means "less than WFO on the straight".

Same here. Depending on weather, might even wait for SCDA on 4/18.

I had to put a soda can over one exhaust once. Worked good and did not slow the car much either.
