Default Which D44 limited slip questions...

I have the rear end pulled apart in my track car and the limited slip clutches are shot. I am trying to decide whether to rebuild with stock parts or look at one of the many aftermarket limited slip units.

Does anybody have any input or suggestions?

Also, I am finding a lot of conflicting information out there about whether the clutches are the same as the clutches in the other applications or whether they are Corvette specific. Does anybody have a part number for these?

Thanks in advance

I used Ikerds to rebuild my D44 a few years ago. Very knowledgeable and quick turn around. I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

I'm not much help on the tech side for the rear end. Sorry.

Matt
