Default AMSOIL Severe Gear Lubricants Reformulated

At the risk of starting another fluid debate, I know there are a lot of AMSOIL users here, so sharing this for awareness.

AMSOIL recently reformulated its Severe Gear Line of Lubricants, increasing its extreme pressure and wear protection: AMSOIL Severe Gear Lubricants Reformulated

The Severe Gear line comes in three grades, all of which contain friction modifier for limited slip diffs. Extra modifier is not needed for the C5/C5 Z06, but with the changes GM made to the C6/C6 Z06 diffs, most C6/C6 Z06 need a few ounces of friction modifier to prevent diff chatter for daily driving. For those whose car is a strict track day car I would not add extra additive.
AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w90 (Product Code SVGQT)
AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w110 (Product Code SVTQT)
AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w140 (Product Code SVOQT)
AMSOIL Slip-Lock Differential Additive (Product Code ADATB)

I've been using Amsoil products for a couple of years now - no issues at all. Great stuff! I do have a question for you though. Which Amsoil product do you recommend in a C5 manual trans? I'm getting ready to put Torque Drive (ATD) in mine. Thanks!

Bill,
That is the correct fluid and the same one I use in mine. Drop me a PM if you are not getting your AMSOIL at dealer wholesale, about 25% below retail, via the AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program. I'll make sure you are getting the best price possible.
