I see it was cut to fit in the other thread which is nice. I guess you used adhesive to set it? Thanks!

I ordered the 1/8" which is 1" oversized. I had to cut it. It's screwed and siliconed in. Took all day.

Careful how you clean it. Use a very mild soap with water. No Windex.

How'd you install? Just lay down a bead of silicone and then screw into the SMC roof panel... the lip the OEM glass sits in/on? Did you pre-drill the holes? Did you consider using a nut/bolt so you can remove/replace w/o worry of your holes stripping out?

I had a glass shop remove the factory glass. I cleaned out the channel where the OEM sat. It's like a one inch lip all the way around. Cut the lexan to fit. Easy to cut, but took many times trimming before it sat just right. Then pre-drilled the holes in the lexan. Then I used screws that has a self drilling end. Silicone under the lexan, plus painted it black on the bottom side, so you don't see the frame where it sits. When I was all done I put silicone around the edges. If something happens to where the screws strip out, I would just re-drill and put in bolts and nuts.

Get some Novus cleaner and polish for lexan. They sell it at Spruce Aircraft for planes. You may get it in a decent detail shop also or auto supply.

You can get a Lexan product called Marlite which nearly as resistant to scratching as glass. Not sure if can be bent.

wheelsup, I've installed lexan all the way around on a road race mustang. For the windshield I use dzus fasteners to allow easy removal for access to things like pedal assembly and master cylinder reservoirs. On side windows and such I use small threaded inserts typically and fasten with screws since those don't need to come out often or as fast yet they are still easily removable.
