Default Tinted face shield

Has anyone looked through / driven with anyone of the iridium coated face sheilds. Too dark on cloudy days? Make it brighter?

The cool factor is there... How's the function factor?

I run one on both my HJC helmets. It completely eliminates glare on sunny days, but I switch to clear on really cloudy days (only takes a minute or two). It's not as dark as the pic shows (flash), and has a mirror finish on the outside.

I use a blue iridium shield, Great for very bright days. Gray days it is OK but not great, so switch to a clear shield

I have sensitive eyes, so I keep my yellow (or blue depending which car) iridium tinted visor on whether it's sunny or cloudy. If it rains I switch to an orange non iridium, and I've yet to run at night. But when I rode motorcycles I always had a dark tinted visor, rain/shine or night; headlight glares really bother me

I use my iridium in both sunny and cloudy weather it works well. The only time I needed to switch to clear was indoors Karting.
