Default HPDE Insurance

Was just looking at Lockton's website in regards to new multi-event HPDE coverage and noticed that none of the NASA events at Mid-Ohio are listed. Since Lockton seems to be the only one writing HPDE insurance does this mean you cannot get any coverage for Mid-Ohio?

Not familiar with them myself, but have you tried On Track Insurance or ProSure Motorsports Protection?

write to them and send them a link to the event. I've done that and got specific events covered. they might just not know about them all

Check your NC policy. I don't believe you'll find any exclusions for track activities.

Ohio has different insurance laws than most other states. They don't allow insurance companies to provide coverage via the net according to the HPDE insurance providers we have been using.

K&K provides the event insurance at Mid-Ohio, but I don't know if they do individual policies.

OnTrack also offers multi-event discounts and will add an event with a phone call. In addition, OnTrack insures through The Great American Insurance Company which is licensed in all 50 states.

For a declared value of $50K my cost is $280 - $5 for a club association discount. There's a 10% discount for 3 or more events. The deductible is 5% or $2500 for my $50K value.

This policy only covers damage to the car and some of the cleanup costs.

Derek,
I believe either way since I had called Steven Katz recently to get a non-listed event added and he specifically asked if it was a one day or two day event.

Might want to give Brown & Brown a call. They just took over insurance for NCCC events. (719.471.0262)
