Default Doug Fehan talks about Corvette Racing

Interesting what he has to say about supporting other Corvettes racing in the ALMS at about 11:24, considering what has gone down with LG.

If he is smart not much as he is having his a s s sued off. It is called CYA with BS! So they sold some guy an old car for mega bucks and they are happy to compete with it but not another car not under their control who might beat them. All Doug is missing in the picture is his snake skin. Hope he gets his clock clean this year to bad for the brand. If he gets beat by Ferrari factory it's OK if he gets beat by a privateer he would look like a fool with 30 million dollar budget wasted. So we know hwy he eliminated all the with no tires for other teams!

Um....considering the Larbre car wont actually be competing against them in the ALMS as its a ILMC car they're happy to support them (factory support for a European team isnt new with P&M/GM) so before you guys go talking BS about this just understand that.

Technically you are correct, but LG wasn't looking to directly compete with GM either. Still seems like a CYA with BS move!

To little to late and it will all be exposed in court one way or the other unless GM settles. I bet it would be a non-disclosure settlement also if it happens. Major companies all keep the emails for years and off-site along with other documents. Lawyer's are great getting at the truth no matter what we think of most of them. Fehan is listed separately on the suit so he is probably not a GM employee and will have to pay for the defense himself.

I thought LGM would have been directly competing with GM or what was the class difference the C6R and LGM were in?

Sorry, I threw up a little bit after hearing what he said about wanting other Corvettes to do well.

so they were going to compete until GM could not take the heat and chose to cripple the competition even with a 30 million dollar budget to a privateer.
