How do you deal with the angular deflection at the lower arms when you adjust camber (or caster in the front)? Or said another way: the front bushing on the arm and the rear are not always coaxial, and delrin doesn't like to deflect like rubber or even poly will.

Joe: I emailed you about buying just the front tow hook base. It should work with a standard large eye-bolt right? We have TONs of 'em laying around at work.

Hmmm, same question as Mgarfias.
I would have hoped for a more technical response than "It's in the instructions".
If it's proprietary, in the design, then just say that.
I have also seen it discussed in a few places that the solids can cause problems at the ends of adjustment.

sorry.. that was a quick answer...
We mill the bushings at the end to reduce interference, then we adjust alignement to make sure fit is correct.
The delrin does flex slightly to help solve the issue also.
So far, no problems on our test cars..

No experience with these bushings but my business is machining plastics so I can tell you with some experience that while being harder than urethane, Delrin is not a rock-hard material. It will flex and give a little bit, which is among the reasons it's used for shift *****. It is a very nice material to work with as well, machines very easily, holds tolerance well and produces a great finish.

If you take out the eccentrics and use a fixed block you can set the alignment once, bore the hole in the delrin and it won't change.
From then on all alignment will need to be done with the upper arms in the front and the rear will be fixed except for toe.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense. I was thinking that they'd setup some way to make the deflection happen in the bushing sorta like what Hoffman did with his shock mounts.
In the front lowers on my car I've got the arm setup square with the same size camber plates front to back, then adjust up top. One of these days I'll get my lathe spinning and cut some delrin for the lower fronts and the upper rears. Then if I get really ambitious I'll build a spherical setup for the upper fronts and the lower rears.
