Supurb storytelling, pictures and VIDEO!!!
I attended the next race in the series (USRRC at Pensacola, Fla) as a team member of the CSX3009 427 Cobra of Skip Scott Essex Wire team. Many of these same cars and drivers competed, and I got to help tow the Mecom Lola (oil cooler problems resolved) back to Houston. This was truly the Golden Age of American Sports Car Racing

BTW I think this would get more interest on the C2 Forum

I forgot that roll bars were not required that early. The sight of a T70 or Lola with nothing higher than the driver's head is a little upsetting.
It just doesn't look right
