Default Anybody towing a 'vette with a 5th Wheel Toy Hauler?

Hey all, I have a nice 28' AL trailer right now that I really like for towing the 'vette:

However, I'm doing a lot more sand duning these days on top of tracking the 'vette. I usually do my dune trips with friends and bum a bed in one of their 5'ers... but I'd like to be self-sufficient. I've thought about going with a toy hauler, but I'd have to go with one of the biggest ones on the market for the 'vette.

Is anybody towing a 'vette with a Toy Hauler? If so what do you have.

Here's the sand toy:

There's a thread floating around here discussing towing with motorhomes etc. and one guy posted up that he tows his C4 in a toy hauler.

Goose Neck, not a 5th wheel.

Most "toy haulers" with liver quarters dont have enough deck space for the cars. More for quads and motorcycles

I'll try to find the thread. I def don't want to go to a motorhome, my truck is my DD too.

Yup, that's the problem I've found as well. I've found a few that "should" fit a C5 but haven't tested the theory yet.

A lot of my buddies have toy haulers, they all have tons of room in front of the full-width storage for other stuff (obviously they use that area for quads and such) that would work for tires etc. The problem is the full-width section that would fit a car is not long enough. They have ~35' trailers though. I've seen a few 40'ers that might do.

Thanks, I'll look through! The problem is very few people actually list the usable "garage" demensions. I'll probably have to buy something local (if I decide to make the move) so that I can test-fit the Z.

Thanks!

Yup, 2011 2500HD with the LML Duramax and Allison. I liked the factory wheels (pictured) but already swapped 'em out for some black 18"s and slightly taller mud tires. The stock tires did not do well in the sand at all. I also am having a Cognito leveling kit installed right now, I'll add pics once it's done. The truck runs great though... TONS of power and it's all stock. The H&S tuned trucks (w/ the SCR/DPF/DEF deletes) are doing 500RWHP/1000RWTQ all stock other than exhaust/tune.

Yeah, I'm interested. My 20' is a bit cramped with all my race stuff. A toy hauler would be ideal, but haven't seen one that would fit a corvette.

Being that your into the sand thing you probably know about this site but if not check it out. If some of these would be on the right coast I would be looking into them. http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/...p?showforum=99
Toy haulers that can haul a corvette are out there. Yes you need to make sure it will fit but more important you need to make sure the trailer can handle the weight.
