Default No Cats

Anybody running no cats and regret it? I am thinking of ditching them when installing headers. The car is a track car only.

Get rid of em and retune when headers are on! Then take your cats down to the recycler and get $100.00 for the pair.

I have them on my racecar and it keeps the sound to a manageable level. (Able to run during quiet time at road Atlanta with no mufflers.)

How bad is the smell when tuned properly?

They still smell but not terrible and track only you'll never notice. I drive my car to the track and occasionally and notice it in traffice some.

For a track-only car it'd be a no-brainer for me. Only reason my race car has them is because it's setup for TTA and deleting the cats costs mod points. Plus I can't make more power anyway.
