He can't afford a boat if he can't afford a suitable tow vehicle.

I had a hitch on my old Z06 to yank a tire trailer around and towed my jetski a few times just to move it. I'd never want to launch a boat with one. First off I get all wet putting my ski in and when I come back from a day on the water I'm rather nasty/salty.

One of these days he'll encounter a slick ramp and slide back into the water

I've seen a guy launching a 20+' sleeper hull boat with a V6 mustang convertible. I happened to be at the ramp when they were loading up to pull out and I didn't think they'd make it up the ramp.

Yeah he used to pull a pair of jet ski's with his turbo civic, then the vette, now the boat with the vette. I fear what he will want to tow next.

when I saw the vid I thought that was what I was going to see. I think there was one posted like that here once.

Years ago I took a new 1994 25' Checkmate with twin 200's on it from NY to FL round trip with an 1980 Buick Riviera

Yeah I seem to remember a video with a yellow C5 in the water at a boat ramp from years ago.

I have seen a guy pulling a small fishing boat (maybe 12') behind his LT1 Camaro. I will generally see him when I am filling up with gas in my Camaro.

My dad used to pull his 65 vette on a very heavy tilt bed trailer behind a 84 Oldsmobile station wagon. It did have a diesel engine though! We would always get stoped at one light at the bottom of a hill on the way down to Indy. It would take us for ever to get up that hill.

Towed a 17' Center console w/90 with my Mustang GT. No problems at all but I did make my own hitch.
