Default Front tow hook problem

Was going to install the Pfadt front tow hook this evening on my 2004 Z06 but as I was looking at everything I noticed that the Vararan was ducted right where the tow hook should go. Does anyone know if the area behind the front license plate is strong enough to support the tow hook?

You have to mount the tow hook to the frame. I have a Vararam and my hook is mounted to the left of center.

You can see the Vararam in this picture with the front clip removed (necessary for installation).
