Default Wets.... what works

After a wet weekend at AutoBahn last week I'm in the market for a set of wets.
I'll mount them on a set of 18 x 10 front & 18 x 12 rear.
This is for a C6Z, I run Hoosier A's & R's but the wets look to small in OA diameter and not offering a tall enough split from rear to front. Also 305's is the widest.

What are you all using?

Thanks in advance
G

I like RE-11's but that's on a C6 in 265/18 front and 305/19 rear. Don't think that you can get 305/18 rears.

They were very good in the rain at Mosport and at Watkins.

Hoosier wets are about as good as it gets in the rain. If you put too much tire on it in the rain it's just going to hydroplane anyway. With the 18's put on the 305's in the back and 275's in the front and be careful how much you point your right foot....

The 275/35/18 is the same diameter as the 275/40/17 and we use that on the front of C5's with the 305/30/18 in the back and the nannies seem to work ok.

Also, in the wet it's not a bad thing if the nannies come in earlier than in the dry. If the tire diameteres are a bit closer to each other, the sooner the nannies come in since it is speed difference that triggers them.
