Default CMP video from this weekend...

Ryan (Oyishdog) dominated the ST2 field Saturday. He spanked us like a bunch of 1st graders. He didn't run with us Sunday because of other obligations.

Here's video from Sunday's NASA race at Carolina Motorsports Park. The video is primarily of me chasing Michael Smith (Goldeneagle_10)(C5 Black and Copper) and another guy in a RX7. All of us were in ST2.

Michael was running good, but his tires went away and created him a problem and I was left chasing the RX7. It was a fun day.

These young guys make us old guys work too damn hard!

Anyway, here it is:Giddy Up, Cowboy!

I shot some video of you guys trackside, I'll try to post it up if I have time.

had fun watching ST2. sorry I couldn't make a race entry. not enough time to get the car in race prep, TT you can just zip tie it all together and wing it

hope to run at Charlotte in July in ST2, we'll see. it's only time and $$!

here's a good one you can show to all your friends who say "that looks slow" when you show them your track video

people who drive awd cars are generally horrible at skid recovery. His initial countersteer was only 1/2 a turn of the steering wheel. nowhere near enough for that amount of angle.

poor guy, I assume and am glad he's ok.

Thanks for the props Falcon... I was finally able to pull off my rookie stripes on Sunday after the race, even though it looks like I should've kept them on a little longer after my incident at the kink

That was my 4th race ever and I still need to work on my racecraft and how to manage a race and traffic. But that will come with time I'm sure. I'm just enjoying getting to be out there with a good group of guys and having fun. Planning on going to Nationals if all goes according to plan, but I'll just be looking up at the pointy end of the field.

Wow, seemed like he kept it mashed all the way into the wall! I never even thought of hitting that wall before!

Traffic management is one of the most difficult things to learn...how to use it for your benefit and how to avoid it impacting you. You were running well out there I should be at rd at in june too.

I think I would have tried the 2 feet in method instead.

I'm with you, Scott. That seems to work more often than "powering" out of it.

Are those tire walls not bolted together?

you would have totally looped it and stayed WOT through the whole loop, 2 cubic acres of tire smoke

Nice effort at the end, you needed another 300RPM before the straight.

How many tenths are extra credit style points worth?

Nice drive Falcon and great looking car. Thanks for sharing. I really am starting to enjoy these in car videos posted by the forum racers better than pro races on TV.

Sunday morning we had several long delays more than 30 minutes and we were told it was because it takes time to tie the tire walls. Doesn't look like the tires in T3 are well tied down, but hard to tell and you want some flex. I spent over 30 minutes in car on grid for a 15 minute session, but stuff happens and Jim and crew did the best they could under the circumstances.

Falcon is like Jeremy Wade on "River Monsters", he just wears you down and reels you in
