Corvette at LeMans
The factory relationship with Larbre Competition seems deeper than most of us thought. Fehan and Leconte (larbre team owner) were having a love fest in France.
"Jack Leconte, Larbre Competition Team Owner: “As early as our first year of activity with GM Racing, Larbre Competition, which has built up an enviable reputation over the past decade, was invited to become an integral part of the manufacturer’s 2011 ILMC development programme.
Last February we were invited to a joint track test at Sebring so our drivers could familiarise themselves with the new C6-ZR1, before all our technical staff spent two weeks in New Hudson, MI, acquiring the skills and data needed to maintain the Corvette.
In addition to this, and in view of our Le Mans experience, we quickly established a contract to support the works team for its Le Mans 24 Hours preparation. Dual cooperation was established by both companies on the technical, human and financial sides in order to exploit in the best possible way the date of the Test Day"
