Default If you could live near a track............

what one would it be?
Why?
Looking for a place to relocate to that would make "play-time" so much easier!

My wife and I just relocated back to GA...in Pendergrass. It takes me 9 minutes (towing) to get to Road Atlanta...absolute heaven!!!!!! I can hear the cars running there every weekend.

Lernerville Raceway. Sarver PA. Just kidding

I live in Wexford PA, near you. I'm 25 minutes from Beaver Run. I like the track, but it is just not open enough. My in laws live 10 minutes from NJMP. Great tracks and only a short drive to the shore. That area of NJ would remind you of Butler County with sand

4 miles from Road Atlanta, a 2nd house near VIR would be grand

Aside from the obvious of no towing/travel expenses, it's nice for just entertainment value to stick your head over there at all the events they have going on if you have a track close by.

Charlotte is great area. 2hrs to VIR, 3 hrs to Rd Atlanta, 1 hr to CMP, 0 hrs to CMS, 4 hrs to Roebling, 3 hrs to NCCAR. Easy interstate driving to pretty much all of the above.

There are other great tracks around, but none I'd relocate for. Having VIR and Rd Atlanta withing a few hours outweighs any other single track.

45 Mins south to MSR in Cresson, 45 Min north to ECR in Slidel, 15 Min to TMS.....TWS in Collage Station, MSR Houston, Hallett in OK, Harris Hill out of San Antonio and the new F1 track in Austin all within 3 to 4 hrs of the house. Where else in the country can you have this???

All loaded up for a day at ECR tomorrow.

Another vote for Texas -

The OP asked about one track but if variety is your thing, it is tough to beat the Republic of Texas. West Houston is 45 min. to either MSR-Houston or TWS, 3 hours to Harris Hills and 4 hours to Eagles Canyon or MSR Cresson! All top tracks with an event happening practically every weekend at one or more.

I am a political dissident here. They are threatening to send me to SanBeria-isco. There I will be forced to labor for The State.

I think I am doing that already....

Does that make me a refugee? And yeah, you're already working for the state.
