Default No Fob Detection on '08 C6 manual

New batteries on both fobs and car battery really charged up.
But can't turn it over as computer does not recognize my fobs.
I have searched the forum but cannot find anything new that might help. Funny cuz at one point I accidently punched the panic button and horn went off. I thought I was sunk until the fob turned the alarm off.

It is a shame since tomorrow I was driving to Thunderhill for my first event this year. Have tried the three 10 minute reprograming steps but no luck. This car has been up on jack stands for the past 5 months while I installed an accusump, trailer hitch and roll bar. Had hopes for a NCRC Saturday event.

Any thoughts out there?

Have you tried just doing a car battery disconnect? Just unhook the car battery for about a minute then hook it back up and try.

The fobs don't work in the glove box slot either?

Yeah, I would try to disconnect the car battery for a few minutes and see if that solves it. Otherwise, call Rich at Abel Chevrolet. I hope you get it taken car of so you can make it up to T-hill.

Try the slot. Depress clutch and put your foot on the brake.

I had that and it turned out to be a bad car battery.
Replaced it and end of issue.
