LG Motorsports Spectre 341 hill climb update day one
Hey guys,
I'm working on the hotel computer, and it isn't letting me post pictures but I do have some on our Facebook site.
We came back to the hill this year to defend last year's title for LG Motorsports, ZR1, and Corvette! So far we have more than done so by leading the field by over 5.5 seconds in only 3 attempts up the hill today.
Lou has been on his game and the car has been working very very well for us with some new parts that will be offered shortly! Today's run best was a 3.14:4 compared to last years 3.21:8 (if I remember right). We have a lot of video that we will have once we get back to the office.
Big thanks to ForgeLine for the new wheels this year on the car as well. The 19" GA3R wheels have preformed awesome!

Our Time held up and we won the event. I was on a new fast lap that was 2 seconds faster than our previous time when I had to stop to miss Aaron Pfadt crashed in the middle of the road.
He was lucky that he crashed on a left hander and hit the mountain because had he crashed on a right hander, he would have been flying down the 200+ foot cliff.
I managed to miss his car in the middle of the road and I found exactly 75 inches of space on the mountain side of the crash and slipped through without a scratch to my car. I told Aaron that he needs our LG Sway bars and other parts so next time he can make the corner
At any rate, that time would have been in the 12's and we would have won by a large margin. BUT we had to stand on our morning time of 3:14.4. This allowed the 2300 pound Porsche turbo to get down to 3:15.1 to make it close. But we still won.
Our ZR1 also won the top speed award, hitting 148 on this track with no real straights.
We have great in car video coming soon, including the near miss of the pfadt Camaro.
Thanks a lot guys

Now we are stuck and we will have to go back to defend.
Thanks

Congrats on another win Lou, that is an impressive time on that course.
Just a quick update from the Pfadt camp, the Pfadt 'ring spec Camaro took a bit of a beating, but no one was hurt. This is the type of event that is unforgiving at best. The Camaro was running some pretty impressive times for a 3900+ lb car and I was really happy with event.
Sorry for the thread hijack, but I did want to post and say that I was OK. There are a few photos of the aftermath on the Pfadt FB page.
Again, great driving Lou and congratulations.
