Is ACI front splitter enough balance for COT wing?
Thinking of doing COT (~57") wing but just curious if ACI front splitter would be enough, or should I do the full ACP splitter/undertray. Car is tracked about 9 -12 times a year and is a dd rest of time. Sent VGLNTE a pm as he is further along in the process but haven't heard back. Thoughts?

Here is splitter pics:

Pic of wing:

$600 for COT wing, $175 for splitter, ~ $200 for installation = aero for less than cost of the Kognition wing. Plus splitter doesn't look like it is that low in the front.

I've been looking at a COT wing also......it isn't very large. Regardless, a wing is tunable, a splitter mostly isn't, so I think you would be able to make it work. I wish the COT wings were 72"

We are putting a COT wing on our GTA type car that is getting re-bodied with the 2011 Howe Camaro body. They are about 57".
The Grand Am wing, also by Crawford is 60". SCCA Trans Am wings I think are 72", but of course the bodies are much wider.
I have a couple extra COT wings.

Honestly, you would think there would be more out there with NASCAR dropping them. I was at Joe Gibbs Racing last week helping them set up the #11 car(not really) and the tour guide said they had lots of the wings in a scrap pile - but she wouldn't tell me where the pile was.
BTW I hope you don't mind me posting the pic of your car. Thanks.

It is a big deal to balance aero if you are not using a wind tunnel.
Best of luck.

What kind of downforce can the cot wing produce at zero and 5 degrees at 120mph? Any data available?
Consumer APR wings are design using CFD and have data about 300lb of DF at 120mph and zero degree as an example and $1500. COT for $600 bucks sounds like a deal and a good way to prep for ST-2 on the cheap.

"I have two available @ 600 each, if anyone can use one."
Crawford has them, but while you could buy them, you could not get them for twice that price 6-7 months ago.
