Default More Video from SCCA Daytona Classic, Race 2

Some SCCA Video from the Daytona Classic shot from Rodney Williamson's STO class Mustang Cobra. Rodney's car is far from a full on STO build but he ran some good laps around 2:11.

just after the 6:30 mark you will see me come by in our C6 Vette chasing the 2011 Grand Am Porsche of Dick Greer. I pulled off after about 5 laps with oil temp a bit higher than I liked. We have since changed the oil cooler type.

Our stock car won overall in the group with a best lap of 1:57.

Wow - the track is super smooth after the repaving.

Last fall there weren't any HPDE's due the repaving and curing, so I can't wait to get out on the new track surface this fall when the HPDE's will be running again!!

Nice run. Thanks for posting. I don't know what CLASS he was running.......................but, the solid axle (57?) Corvette with a roll cage, but no rear trunk lid is certainly an awesome example of thrust over aerodynamics

The '57 is Charles Lee's and he has been racing it for many years. Runs in SPO
I think it has a SBC making 550 plus HP.
