Anyone running these size Hoosier on a base c6
I have the opportunity to pick up scrubs in these sizes. My concern is they are too wide and have 1.71" difference
Width DIA
295/30/18 10.8 24.96
325/30/19 12.79 26.67
I am currently running
265/35/18
305/30/19 and they work well
Look forward to your comments

I have run the 305 and 265 on stock rims without an issue. I have gone to a wider wheel tsw which at first on the track rubbed inside of the drivers rear fender. This was cured with just a small amount of sanding inside the wheel well lip and an alignment.
So. No one on the 315?

I went throught this exercise a couple of years ago on my base C6. From what I could discover, the computer is looking for a wheel speed difference between the front and rear wheels, as would be generated by the difference in height between the stock wheel sizes. That difference is roughly 1.15". If, due to different diameter tire sizes you get too far away from what the computer is looking for, it thinks you have wheel spin or tires locking up and tries to correct that. Of course, at some point, the tire also becomes too wide to fit within the fender well and suspension components without rubbing. 325's might be pushing that limit, at least on the stock fender wells. I never tried to run a tire that wide.
My understanding from a lot of internet searches (nothing scientific or per GM) is that you need to stay within about 6-10% of the stock tire diameter difference to keep the computer happy. I don't know if turning off all the nannies completely will avoid that or not as I never experimented with it, although you think it would.

Drifting
Can you run a "square" set-up of say...295-18's front and back, with all driving aids turned "off"??? I know they fit, and don't rub....(and it's what I have available), I just have not run them track or autocross yet.
-sorry for the minor thread Hi-jack!
