Default Installed Kooks headers but questions / possible problems

Okay, so I spend the day installing the Kooks 1 7/8 headers and xpipe. (BB Bullet exhaust on the way)

This install was not as easy as I thought. Getting the cats removed were a pain in my a$$. Anyway, long story short, car has a much more throaty / raspy sound to it and I can clearly hear the cams. It rained today so I couldn't give it a real hard WOT but did manage to go up to 6k.

First question is, I noticed the oil pressure gauge fluctuate much more. At warmed up temperatures, the car idles at around 30 -40.... crusing on the highway at 60-70 mph is at around 62. When I gave it a WOT to 6k, it jumped to 80~90. And when I slow back down to normal cruising, it goes back down to 60s. Is this normal? I guess I never paid too much attention when stock. now that it has a strong mod, maybe I am paranoid or something. I've searched all over the forum but nothing seems to be clear about proper idle and WOT. Please give me some insight~ I've only owned the car for 6 days~

2008 Z06 with 8000miles.

Sounds pretty normal! I'm guessing that the oil was not totally up to temp? The 80-90# is a little high if the oil was up to temp, not if it wasn't. Also not unusual to have 15-20 after tracking hard for 25 minutes. I doubt that the headers affected the oil pressure. Just my thoughts.

i didn't track at all. As matter of fact, I was at idle at a light and I rev'd the motor to 6 k and the needle jumped to 70ish... is that normal????

I guess I should of paid attention more when it was stock...

Normal, don't do that until oil comes up to temp, say 180f.

I had the car running until the oil temperature at 175 and when rev'd to 6700, the oil pressure jumps to 90... seems odd no? At idle, it sits at 43.... so jumping about 50..... confused~
