Default Microphone for track videos ???

What external microphone are you using to make you track video? And where are you mounting it? I know lots of people are using GoPros that can't use an external microphone...but, for those of you that do use them...what are you using?

Thanks for the help,
Charley

I thought you meant for the driver, the last thing I want on video are the things I'm saying.

I use a Sony ECM-MS907 stereo mic from B&H Photo. It works extremely well.

(Now if I could find a new digital camcorder that works as well, I'd be a happy camper)

Where are you placing the mic for good results?

I have a Shure C606WD Microphone mounted in the right rear storage bin in the back of my car. No wind noise. Doesn't pick up anything I say or scream.

Centered and just in front of the C5Z's center rear storage hole, about a foot from the back of the car inside if you have a coupe.
