NEW - ZR1 Iron Rotors From lapponline.com
After months of development we are finally ready to introduce economical rotors for the track for the ZR1.
These prototypes came in late this afternoon so I worked late to assemble them, and take some pics. Hopefully you guys will feel as excited about these as I do.
The hats are manufactured by the same company that makes OE hats for Brembo, and a number of race teams. The front rotors are AP Racing, the rear rotors are Coleman, and all the hardware is AP Racing.
Front Rotor Weight = 22 lbs
Rear rotor Weight = 20 lbs
As a side note the OE Z06 front rotors weigh 26.5 lbs.
On to the pictures:
Front Rotor:
Rear Rotor:
Pictures installed on the car will be coming later this week.
Pricing will follow soon. Rest assured they will be quite a bit less than the OE rotors, and you will only need to replace the ring.
We are working with Cobalt Friction on the pads so that we can offer the complete kit.

The front AP rotors are 72 vane. That certainly makes for a lot of surface area for great heat dissipation.
We plan to offer the AP rotor as a option for the rear, they will obviously be a bit more expensive.
This is also a true floating rotor design.
We will also have the calipers for sale on our site along with custom stainless lines for those that want to assemble the ultimate big brake kit.
