Actually I have both a Z06 and an '03 Coupe, but trophied in Paul Brown's FRC.
And a big hat's off to Mr. Ogburn for winning AS in an '04 coupe!

In having driven both the FRC and the 01 + C5, do you see an advantage to either ?

If I were going to prep one today I'd get an '04 with the better bushings and go from there. IMHO If you get an earlier one you'll probably have to replace all the bushings with the newer ones anyway.

Both can win with the Z51 suspension. While the coupe is a little heavier than the FRCs, the '02+ coupes have a little more hp and torque and better weight distribution.
If I were going to prep one today I'd get an '04 with the better bushings and go from there. IMHO If you get an earlier one you'll probably have to replace all the bushings with the newer ones anyway.
