Enjoy the app, it is a great one. I have been using it for 2 years now. Make sure to secure the mount low on the windshield near the dash, this will maximize GPS reception. I will be there this weekend as well, feel free to stop by and chat.

Awesome - on site help desk! I will look you up. I will be in red C5Z #24. Mid 80s with 10% chance of rain for weekend. I hope car holds together for both days.

I never found it accurate enough to be useful on my 3gs. It's cute, better than nothing, but the hardware isn't fast enough. iphone 4 might be another matter though

If the program supports an external GPS receiver, I would suggest using that. Accuracy and speed increased a ton on my Trackmaster app (for Android) when I switched from the on-board GPS to an external. You're probably only getting a 1Hz signal using the internal while the external units are 5HZ. I use a Qstarz 1000XT.

There is a list of external GPS that is compatible with software, I just didn't have time to get one before this weekend. Tried to get OBDII Bluetooth for engine data logging, but that will have to wait also. I would be curious what my motor is doing under duress. But that will be later if I survive the weekend.
