Default Dead battery C6Z

My Z has been sitting for a while and my battery went completely dead.

I plan to trickle charge the battery. Anything I should know with computers, electronics in car etc....?

Thanks,
Tom

If the battery went completely dead, you may have a few issues like reindexing the windows, seat memory positions, etc to deal with. That's been my experience with my 07Z. Good luck!

Default Get a Battery Tender

Keep mine on a Battery Tender during winter hibernation. Works perfect. I have the cigarette lighter adaptor that charges the system "backwards". No problems with the electronics doing it.

If it is totally dead, a trickle charger is not really the way to go, or driving it around either (alternator charging). You have shortened the life by letting it go dead, but it may still last a while.

Get a real charging station or bring it somewhere & get it done & also load tested after to make sure it's good.
