Default Nitto NT01 C6 Z06 rears

I've been frustrated trying to find a streetable 18" R-compound tire solution for my C6 Z06 since RA1's became unavailable. R888s heat cycle out too quickly, and there really is nothing else out there. Nitto NT01s are essentially identical to RA1s in that they don't heat cycle to a premature death, and they make a front that works, but the largest rear they make is a 315. I have heard they are responsive to consumer demand and add new sizes if they see a market. Anyone interested in a NT01 in 335/30x18 please drop them a note a their website, with any luck they may decide to make them.

Thanks guys!

335/19 would be good too.

Yea, I want 335/30/19. If it was 18", it would need to be 335/35/18 to preserve the OEM tire OD.

Tread wear is 100. It's essentially a re-branded RA1 from what I understand. Just as a guess I would say 1 to 2 sec faster than the NT05. For reference I did a 1:51.3 on RA1's a few weeks ago at Infineon (stock C6 Z06 with Stoptechs).

I have the Nitto 01's mounted on 2 sets of track wheels at this time. They don't get greasy after a couple of laps. They stay consistent for a full 30 minute run and consistent from weekend to weekend. An A6 they ain't but they do exactly what I expect and want for HPDE's.

Hopefully the new sizes for a bigger market will be a short time coming!
