goodbye, corvette
good:
cheap, fast, easy to find parts, HUD, LS6, mostly bulletproof drivetrain
bad:
expensive/annoying to fix little things (cooling), PBR brakes/thin pads, GM seats
lesson to learn - it's not about the power, it's about the driver. lesson learned? absolutely not.
goodbye! - sold after 7 years, 6 of those on the track
hello! - only drove for a few minutes today in the standing water type deal on the freeway - yeehaw!

nope, these pads are not that thick either, guess I am spoiled after swapping porsche pads a few times this summer.
i like how all the body/interior panels are held in place by big hex headed bolts with no intention to hide them.
as far as clean looks go, it's not like I am planning to offroad it (intentionally).
I do have to say it was pretty neat to get 15 feet of space in all directions in rush hour traffic yesterday, I am too used to driving a civic/mazda hatch daily. I actually tried going 5 under the limit on a road where everyone does 45+ with 35 posted, just to see what happens. The car behind kept at least 3 car length distance - in a mazda I would have been ran off the road! maybe I do need to drive this daily... you know, for safety reasons.
