That must of been this past Sunday with the Potomac PCA club? Very nice driving. Shame on you beating up on those P-cars :-)

Nice. Not many P-cars can hang with a C6Z or a C5Z.

God I love watching Corvette track videos. Especially where they are eating everything alive. Your car looks like it handles really solid. What is done to it if you don't mind me asking?

78s is very fast indeed. Seem to carry alot of speed onto the curbs, I'd be afraid of messing up my alignment (did that last year on the 10 exit curbing).

I have coilover shocks and sway bars. The motor is stock with headers and cold air intake.
I do all my own alignment and check everything after every event.
I just made some small changes and it made a big difference in the way the car handled.
Thanks,
Ed

What tweeks? I'd love to know how to get more power down after the Apex if 9, 10 but the re-pave is slippery there. I guess the coilovers should help keep the tire planted. Hoosiers would too over my Nitto-RII.

Brian,
1:17.8 is unbelievable . I think you can sit back on this one because it will be a long time before anyone else will run that time in TTA.

Congratulations,
Ed

Hopefully the Georgia boys aka "C5 Mafia" don't decide to make a trip to SP anytime soon

Not sure if Joe Moholland posts on here, but he and his TTU C5Z was a great rabbit... I just did everything in my ability to keep him in sight. The number that popped up on my Traqmate was a surprise.

I'm on CF a few times a week..........sorry I didnt see you before I left. I was trilled with my 1.184 until I saw your time, just some great driving on your part........ maybe I can use you as a rabbit at VIR as I told you Im pretty weak there. All in all great weekend and it was only my third and fourth day running hooiser so I hope I have a little left in me.

Ed great video...... as you know I run with the PCA a lot also..... they run a nice event and generally good guys but it is so much fun eating them up with vettes.

I spent all my learning years at SP at the FATT days. I have wanted to take the Z up there at some point. It's a fun little track but 500 miles (one way) is a long tow, so don't hold your breath.
