Well, the cold weather is upon us and I don't know about you guys, but I need an outlet for my racing addiction. Last year we had a good crew of about 5-7 guys who would consistently participate. If you do play GT5 but are not sure how to play online, I can help you get connected. The format is usually 10-15 minutes of practice/qualifying by fast lap. Heat 1- 8-12 laps depending on track length, Starting order by qualifying time, Heat 2- 8-12 laps, starting order reverse of heat 1, FINAL- Double the laps, starting order will be the finishing order of Heat 2.

Points- For heats 1 and 2- 1st- 30, 2nd- 29, 3rd- 28, etc... Final is double the points, 1st- 60, 2nd-58, 3rd- 56, etc.... See schedule below-
(you don't need to compete every week, and you can drop 1 race)

2011-2012 GT5 Online Racing Challege- Races will be held on Thursday evenings starting at 8:00pm sharp with Heat 1 beginning around 8:15pm.

Practice Race 12/22 due to holidays

Race#5 1/12

Race#7 1/26

It would be great if we could get a crew of 10-12. Right now I think we are sitting around 6 confirmed. Thanks

How long do these events usually take?

I am interested. I am not very fast because I dont have a wheel/pedal set (which I think will help alot with the realism of the game) but I would love to compete and be a pack filler.
