Crankcase ventilation
There is likely a right way and a wrong way to do this.
Plan:
Installed the Pretty Al. Catch can,
Routed from crankcase to Can.
Can to Intake for vacuum.
Now ... where do I get fresh air??
This motor has a carburetor.
I am thinking to Air cleaner with flame arrest-er???
Any better thoughts?
Thanks ahead of time

!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the response really do. !!!!
Have this spiffy neat billet [$100 retail ] one, and just wondered if there is a "right" or BEST way to do this? No fittings three holes? On has to be the drain.....
Being old shade tree mechanics, we would have pulled from one valve cover using a PCV and used the intake vacuum to evacuate, and gone to the air filter with a line to PU fresh air.
But we made the mistake of asking questions during one of our Track Pointer Tours.
Fear and loathing of flash back with our backward carburetor sys. was the concern [ fear and loathing of carburetors in general?] .
And.......... if you ask a question, and you get an answer, you should respect the answer.
And.......... what we remembered is a lot of plumbing to keep oil mist contained. Hence the detail question.
BUT! ......... The silence was deafening, no doubt a worthless, stupid question.
So I stuck a breather in one valve cover, plumbed the oil separator from the other and to the Intake.
Done, unless some bright light wants to through a rock, now, and criticize . Criticism is always easier to receive than instruction.
But thanks again for taking a moment to help
