Default hey guys little help here!!! proof of correct harness position

i need as much documented proof that the way we have our shoulder belts come down from top and in front of our shoulders is better than having the belt come from below and behind an then up and over the shoulder its a no brainier for us but corporate America doesn't have or understand common sense.. this will really help me out!!!!!

p13 of this pdf. Harnesses should be anchored directly at shoulder height or slightly below.

Am I reading that right?? that the shoulder harnesses should cross eachother as they come off the rear bar before they go through the slots in the seats??

That is for anchor positions that are at a distance from the seat. If you look at the diagram it shows 500mm and on the next page it says the shoulder harnesses should be crossed if they are anchored more than 500 mm behind the seatback.

Actually the best proof of what you are talking about is where every automaker mounts their shoulder belts and the fact the capability of those mounts and belt paths is proven in extensive crash testing.
