Default oil dripping from air filter/front bumper

hi - i have read that a few people get this from HARD driving on track.
i got it with stock c5 z06 on hoosiers after 20 minute session.
if this happened to you:
1) how did you fix it?
2) single or dual catch cans? which brand? I'm leaning towards elite.
3) did you get leak down test? results?

thanks.

I highly recommend using a PCV oil catch can on your LS6 if you're using it on the road course for HPDE, etc. I use the Accurate Machine Works (AMW) catch can, but I also like what Chip (Willfulone) sells at CCW. Elite Engineering makes quality products too. You'll see they are all similar in design.

Yes, happened during my first hpde in my C5Z. Don't overfill the engine oil more than a half quart or it will puke out. A single elite engineering catch can has worked pretty well for me. Check it after each session. My stock engine had very little blowby (maybe a table spoon per session). My new crate engine fills up half the catch can each session .

I agree with redtopz.

Over fill 1/2 quart, no more. You also may want to clean your maf with some electrical contact cleaner (or MAF cleaner) since it most likely now has oil on it.

That's crazy. Are you concerned? Is it from ring blowby?
Did you have a leakdown test done?
