Default Muffler advice

Last year the car (2001 Z06 running in ITE/ST2) got upgraded to headers, a crossover pipe and a tune. Sounds wicked now, but with no cats and dumping into my SLP Loudmouths, I started getting black flagged for being over the sound limit.

I've been looking for Ti mufflers but those are getting scarce.

Any recommendations for what I can put on to quiet the car down?

Z06 Ti mufflers are the best option. They're cheap compared to aftermarket options, they flow well enough to support 600+ rwhp and they're quiet.

They come up often in the FS section. Also check Craigs List and your local car forums. LS1tech.com as well and Z06vette.com etc.

Have you thought of using turn downs on the ends of the pipes ? Last time I was at the Glen, several of the racers were using them. Just turn exhaust tips away from the soundmeter and you will get a substantial drop in directional measured sound. Also much cheaper than new mufflers.
