Default Autox. Passenger with a bad back?

my mom is in town this wkd, and she loves racing but shes never been with me before. We are lucky enough to have a sat and sun event here this wkd and shes coming with me. She does have a bad back tho, and I am worried ill hurt it or aggravate it if she rides along. Im on stock seats and seatbelts, no harness etc. Do you think its a bad idea?

shes not 100 or anything. early 60s, but no real solid diagnosis on her back other than old herniated discs.

I would think it would be a bad idea. I would take her around at say 50% just for fun though.

I shoulda been more specific. yea, id only run at 50-60% just to let her get a feel for it. probably shoulda answered my own question.

Another obvious suggestion: take her out on a fun run after the end of competition Saturday. Surely the organizers would let you make one run given the reason why. That way you could run at a pace comfortable for her and not throw away one of your timed runs.

Good luck, and have a good one,
Mike

Common sense prevails. I autocrossed one weekend with a ruptured disc. The ride didn't bother me at all. What hurt was getting in and out of the car. Cones suffered more than my back did. Fun run sounds great.
