Default Tunnel Plate. Worth the investment?

I have an 06 C6 and wondering if a tunnel plate is a good mod for my car... any thoughts??

you could spend money better. It will help with heat.

Unless you feel like you need to stiffen the car up, the funds can be better utilized elsewhere

Save your money or cut a piece of alum sheet yourself, line it with a heat barrier and save $$$$$

The C6 has a better tunnel closeout than the C5 to start with. The c6 has a aluminum plate versus a stamped piece of sheet metal on the C5. So the gain in rigidity on a C6 is far less than it would be on the C5.
