The race action starts at about 3:30 mark. I think this was Cameron's first start at Road Atlanta. He finished third in his first TA race.

The TA2 rules were pretty much taken from the SE Div SCCA rules. There are a few diffs, but they are real close.

Great video - any pictures from the outside of this. car - can you give us the complete specs? What kind of lap time difference between this and a GT1 car?

I think Bob Stretch has the RA TA2 track record at about 1:27.7

Kurt Roehrig has the V8 GTA record at about 1:28.1

Stretch's car is a Howe Camaro and Kurt's car is a Howe late model type Monte Carlo.

Both are basically SCCA GTA cars.

The difference between a top flight GT-1 and top flight GTA/TA2 at Road Atlanta is 5-6 seconds and a lot more money.

Some Sebring short course video from Cam's GTA car when he set a new track record for the class. The late model stock car in front of Cam is Lee Arnolds, it is powered by a 600 plus HP 18* degree SBC.

Arnold also broke the SCCA SPO record with a 1:07.xxx, that is good GT-1 territory. Cam bested the old GTA record by about a second with a 1:09 and change.
