Default 10/10ths Motorsports Corvette / Viper / Porsche SHOOTOUT :) May 4th

10/10ths had quite a few Vipers and many Porsches at our events last year and all were just first class guys and cars. I have made a number of very good friends as a result.

We got together and will be hosting the very 1st

10/10ths Motorsports Corvette / Viper / Porsche SHOOTOUT on May 4th (fri) at Putnam Park.
This will be in front of our normal Sat/Sun event.
Friday is open to ALL CAR TYPES but only the 3 listed will be actually competing.

It will basically be a very fun day with a bunch of super cars and drivers which also include timed sessions to see which Team will take home the coveted event trophy and have the bragging rights for the entire year.

Details can be found at:
LINK

There will be tropies for:
  • Fastest single lap by any one car
  • Fastest average lap by the fastest team
  • Baddest looking car
  • Overall team winner

I know this will be one heck of a lot of fun and am looking forward to it.

BTW, I hear there is an ASA stock car or 2 in the woodpile and since they have LS1 motors, they will be in the Corvette Group

I am afterall, chariman of the rules committee and I have made my decision.

As fast and friendly a group one will ever find!! Any promoter that calls himself 'Photon' can't be all bad.

Where would you put a car with an LS engine, C5 transaxle, and C5 suspension????

Hi Ken
Looking forward to it. I will put your dates on my site again this year.

As far as your car, we may need to put a Corvette Sticker on it to convince the Viper and Porsche guys

Ballers are always welcome

Hey Bill will we need to detune our vette's so as not to make the other cars look so bad ???? It's kind of like the ZR1 commerical , they had to reduce hp on the ZR1 so as to make it a fair fight.

Ohhh I like that name. When I was with the SWAT team I was a sniper and they called me sniper dog. Long story behind that , that really needs to stay way behind me. Viper Sniper I think it fits really well.

I checked the rule book.

Shooting the Vipers is not permitted.
It does not however, mention Porsches

This 3 day event is coming up in just 3 short weeks.

Even Friday is open to all car types.
The Friday competition though is limited to the 3 models posted.

Our last event sold out and was a great success. Hope everyone can make it.

This should be a lot of fun
