Default Who has installed Sparco EVO2 Seats in thier C5 Help Needed Please

I figured I'd post this over here since you guys are more likely to have installed these in your car. Anyway, I purchased a set of used Sparco EVO2 Seats for my C5Z and I went to Sparco and ordered the Bases, side mounts, slider kits and all the hardware needed for the installation. However, I dont have any instructions. Detailed Pics and tips would be great if anyone has them.

Thanks in advance

Mike

Step 1: Grind the weld off the studs and knock them out. Replace with longer Grade 8 bolts. You'll thank me.

side rails ("L" shaped) to adjustable bottom rails
bottom rails to the big mount
big mount to car

Not sure if they all actually bolt together
I had the side rails and the bottom mount and had to drill holes (IIRC).
Eventually just ditched the whole setup before mounting it and fab'd up a custom mount to get the right (and lower) position.

whats the little l shaped 90 degree bracket thats on the side of the seat base for?

you would think for as much money as I just gave sparco for the bases sliders, mounts and hardware that they coould at least include instructions.

well i thought i had it figured out but thats not the case the sliders wount lock when theres a little side pressure on them from the seats and I can just use the side mounts on the base because the holes dont line up. this just keeps getting worse and worse.

im seriusly about to throw these seats, brackets and all in the dumpster. i got the seat mounted to the bracket of course its putting so much stress on everything that its actually distorting the frame of the base and it dont fit. so i guess ill ask again how many people have installed these seats in thier C5 with sliders and sparco bases? i know theres got to be someone who has. if not what are you guys using to get these in your cars? fabbed brackets? is there another company besides sparco who makes what I need to do a nice clean isntall of these seats?
