A friend of mine is selling a set of Recaro Pole Position seats out of his 03 M3.

Will these fit in the C6?

He has the sliders but I need the brackets. Will the sliders he has work in the C6? If not, anyone know where I can get the brackets and/or sliders for these seats?

don't do a sliding mount for the racing seat. been there, not worth it.
I used hardbar mounts for recaro pp as a passenger seat in my C5. worked great.

Do you have any other info for this? Will this work longterm for the street? I'm looking to replace my stock seats with these.

if you are driving the car daily, I would avoid true racing bucket seats. look into modifying stock seat to safely route the harness and improve the lateral support, or go with one of the "performance/tuner" seats that give you better lateral support and safe harness routing options - without interfering with stock 3 point belt system or wearing out your back on longer trips.
another consideration here is that the cushion material on the racing seat is not really designed for daily wear and tear.

for occasional street/drive to the track use they are fine seats and solid mount is the safest and most maintainance free option. the only exception here would be having multiple drivers.
