I have heard that you can't use SA2005 helmets after Jan 2012. Can anyone one of you serious track guys confirm?

Everything I have read says 10 years on SA rated helmets. I just ran at RRR in Feb with PCA, and my sa 2005 helmet was approved

As far as I know all the DE groups are excepting the 2005, it's the 2000's that are expireing!!!! I'll be there instructing. 2005 C6

Thanks for the helmet info. Look forward to meeting some new folks with track Corvettes. Mine's still on jack stands after major winter overhaul so gotta get it done and check flight it asap.
