Default Having "Track Withdrawal" ... anyone else get this?

It's been 10 months since my last HPDE and I feel like I'm going crazy...

Had to take the time off as my wife and I were blessed with a baby boy in October and I wanted to be there to support her and bond my my son. He's now 5 months old and turning into a little gearhead too.

Congratulations!

If youre starting to feel a little , you might want to try to find some time for a nice drive on some country roads

for the new boy and future Vette fan! I have a 7 yr old daughter who loves going to track when she can and doing the parade laps.

Starting to get itchy myself. Haven't been on track since Daytona in early Dec. Been watching the vids. Letting my oldest daughter do VIR next week with ReZoom in my car (Christmas gift). However, nothing else really going on around here until May. May try to sign up for the 3/30/12 date at new ATL track if it is finished. New LG2 coilovers are going on as we speak. Eager to try them out. Hopefully you have a track nearby where you can squeeze a quick date in.

Oct 2010 I was injured in 2011. I just got use of left leg & arm & have been taking track withdrawal out on the 3/4 ton truck in the snow.

I too am feeling down. I have not been on track in 2 years. I took my car apart to make it better, but it seems I can only buy one part at a time. I hope to be back out mid to late summer this year.

I blew up on the track last october and man oh man I'm itching to get back out there. I'm doing the 2 day ZR1 course at spring mountain on 4/9-4/10. Hopefully that will hold me over till june 4 for some road atlanta action.

Sorry to hear that. I've used the recommendations in your sticky so many times, I'm thinking you should get a kickback from all the vendors. Hope all is well.

Haven't been out in yrs. After moving to Tx. I started a small recording studio and then we had our first child Sept. 2010. I told myself I wasn't going to participate in any track day events until I have a cage put in. I have held to this so far and my car is being prepped in the garage as we speak. It may take another yr. or so but it will be worth the wait when it is done. Oh, and no car payment after next week(the '07 V paid off),should move things along without having to pay for cars! I can' wait to see all you guys posting up your track day and race updates! This is about the only part of the forum I read
