C6R Sebring - when did braking end and acceleration restart
I watched Sebring on Saturday.
Maybe I've got hearing loss but it sounded like the C6R was not under power from the time the driver got into the braking zone until he was well past the apex.
The C6R sound only was heard after the car was well past the apex and well straightened out.
I realize that applying too much power too soon could result in losing the rear end and it takes some time to be able to get on to full throttle. However, I expected to be able to at least hear the the C6R sound increase as the throttle was increased.
Pardon my ignorance or deafness but can somebody enlighten me as to what was happening on the corners that results in the loss of the C6R engine sound.

I watched using the camera that ESPN3 and alms.com had available for 8 cars plus the regular feed with commentary plus Live Timing and Scoring (seeing the C6R drivers lap times vs the competition was really cool).
My impression on the C6R sound is from hearing the in-car camera feed on the 03 C6R as it went through various corners.

Melting Slicks
maybe just not as loud in the lower powerband using torque coming out of the corners One thing I know, if they weren't on the throttle coming out of the turns they would not have been on the lead lap after 12 hours
