Default c5z oil temps at autocross

i got my vette last year sept 1. i ran 8 autocross events before the season was done. during the hotter events 80* and above. i was getting oil temps in the 250 range. my friend at the same events was only the 230 range. he has an 01 and i have an 02. he has a few mods whereas i'm stock, except for konis.
are my temps abnormally high? courses were around 1 min and .7-.8 long.
the only thing i can think of that he has different is a tune.

after every run i would turn the fan on and pop the hood to cool the car down.

what are most of you guys seeing for autocross and whats a dangerous oil temp to see?

thanks,
steve

thats normal, each car is a little different, each driver is a little different. over 300 is dangerous under is fine.

If you think you're getting too hot between runs then turn the A/C on. This automatically turns on the second fan for the radiator and will lower your engine temperatures.

Good luck.
